Terms and conditions
Registration for a course is confirmed by the signature on the contract or by forwarding the enrollment form electronically by the student or his legal representative. The minimum age for participation is 16 years.
DURATION OF LESSONS
The duration of the lessons for each course type is defined in the flyer “Language Stays in Lausanne – Prices”. A coffee break is possible within this period if desired by the student.
All services are payable in advance. Upon receipt of your registration form duly completed and signed, a confirmation is sent to you along with the invoice and a request for down payment. The entire stay must be paid no later than 14 days before the course starts. If the amount is not paid, inlingua reserves the right to refuse the student attend classes as well as any other services previously ordered.
COMPOSITION OF GROUPS AND NUMBER OF STUDENTS
Group organization is the exclusive right of inlingua. We reserve the right to make any changes necessary to the smooth running of the course. Cancellation or interruption of the training by the student, in relation to the composition or redesigning of a course or for any other reason is not possible and will result in the loss of remaining credit. inlingua Lausanne organizes its group lessons starting with one registered student. However, when a group consists of less than 4 students, the number of consecutive course sessions is reduced as follows:

All cancellations must be made in writing. If this occurs up to 14 days before the beginning of the stay, 20% of the total course fee will be charged. For cancellation made less than 14 days and up to 7 days before the beginning of the course, 50% of the total price must be paid to inlingua. For cancellations made less than seven days and up to the day before the beginning of the course – 2pm, 80% of the total price will be charged. If the course has already begun, no refund will be made.
Cancellation fees for accommodations depend on the hotel and host families. inlingua will charge you the cancellation fee dictated by its providers and partners. We recommend that you take out appropriate insurance.
inlingua is closed during public holidays and between Christmas and New Year. On these days, no courses are given. The courses held on those dates are either postponed, so that there is no loss of credit for the client, or deducted when you register.
inlingua reserves the right to replace the trainer if necessary. The student cannot claim any compensation following a change of trainer.
THEFT AT OUR PREMISES
Students should never leave their belongings unattended. inlingua declines all liability for lost or stolen objects on its premises.
No insurance is provided either by the school or by the host families. Each participant must certify that they have the following valid personal insurance for travel abroad: illness, accident, repatriation and civil liability insurance.
COMPLAINTS AND PROBLEMS
The administrative office is available to students for any problems or complaints.
LAW AND JURISDICTION
Any legal relationship between the student and inlingua Lausanne is governed by Swiss law. The sole place of jurisdiction for all procedures and prosecution is Lausanne.
